Acetal Copolymer

TECAFORM, ACETRON, SUSTARIN C, POMALUX, ULTRAFORM, CELCON

Description

Acetal Copolymer has a greater dimensional stability than Acetal Homopolymer and is more resistant to hot water and high pH solutions.

Hot water resistance allows Acetal Copolymers to perform well in continuous service up to 180°F (80°C) and the material can additionally maintain a lower coefficient of friction and better wear properties in wet or moist conditions.

An acceptable material for a broad range of general applications in the Medical, Aerospace and Energy industries at temperatures below 250°F (121°C), there is also no centerline porosity with extruded Acetal Copolymer sheet and rod stock.
