Each industry has its own version of the AIP Material Selection Tool, weighted for the requirements that matter in that industry. Tell it what the part has to survive and it ranks candidate polymers against your inputs, side by side, with published property data.

Set your requirements

Mark each requirement as needed, critical, or not applicable. The tool weights candidates against what you selected.

Add numeric targets

Optionally set target values, in US or metric units, for the properties your application has to meet. Targets re-rank candidates, they never hide them.

The tool supports material discussions, it does not replace them. Published property data is measured on test specimens under standard conditions and does not describe finished-component performance. Final material selection should be confirmed with AIP engineering against your drawing, operating environment, inspection requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
