PPO (Polyphenyleneoxide)

NORYL, NORYL EN 265, NORYL PPO, NORYL RESIN, NORYL SE-1 GFN3, NORYLUX, SUSTAPPO, TECANYL

Description

PPO (Polyphenyleneoxide) is characterized by an extremely low moisture absorption rate and low thermal expansion.

A very dimensionally stable thermoplastic, PPO also has high dielectric strength and a flammability rating of UL94 V-1 at .058” thickness.

PPO can also be 30% Glass-Filled, exhibiting a much higher dielectric strength and nearly double the flexural strength of unmodified NORYL PPO.

If not machined with acceptable coolants, lubricants and trained procedures, this material is subject to cracking and crazing.
