PPS (Polyphenelynesulfide)

FORTON PPS, RYTON PPS, SUSTATRON, TECATRON, TECHTRON, TECTRON HPV, TORCON PPS

Description

PPS (Polyphenelynesulfide) offers the broadest resistance to chemicals of any advanced engineering plastic.

Several grades of PPS exist, including RYTON (Unfilled or Bearing-Grade) and TECHTRON (Unfilled, 40% Glass-Reinforced or High-PV). Additional grades include SUSTATRON (Unfilled or 40% Glass-Reinforced) and TECATRON (Unfilled, Bearing-Grade or Hydrolysis-Resistant).

These various grades of the PPS resin allow for chemical resistance, high temperature stability, zero moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability, ultra-low wear factors and structural strength. PPS materials also offer low flammability ratings of V-O/5VA.
