Description
Duratron PBI is a Quadrant material characterized by high strength, heat resistance and flame resistance. Capable of performing continuously up to 340°F (170°C), Duratron PBI is also hydrolysis resistant and highly resistant to acidic solutions.
Duratron PBI is ideal for high strength situations or where consistent dielectric properties are required and can be applied to situations that require high strength and rigidity at greater temperatures.
Design considerations are required to avoid sharp corners due to the material’s sensitivity.
