30% Carbon Fiber-Reinforced PEEK is similar to the 30% Glass-Reinforced PEEK with enhanced compressive strength and reduced expansion rates. The addition of carbon fibers provides this PEEK grade with greater heat dissipation, thereby allowing it to perform more effectively for a longer period of time and also enhances its electrostatic discharge (ESD) properties.
30% Carbon Fiber-Reinforced PEEK also has a more effective wear resistance and load-carrying capability.
A wide range of extruded and compression molded shapes and sizes are available for machining. Some processing challenges may arise due to the uneven sizing of the rod diameter and plate thickness.
