SABIC trademarked, LEXAN is a brand of PC (polycarbonate) polymer resin thermoplastic. Offering optical clarity combined with an array of unique properties and high impact strength, LEXAN applications center around safety and security glazing.
There are several different LEXAN grades: LEXAN 9034, the general purpose grade, LEXAN XL10, the UV Resistant grade. LEXAN MR10 is Scratch Resistant, LEXAN F6000/9600 is Flame Resistant and Specialized LEXAN is used for high optics, sign grade and infrared blocking.
