HYDLAR, the brand name of Kevlar-Reinforced Nylon, offers superior wear resistance and a high P.V. limit at elevated temperatures.
With very low abrasiveness, HYDLAR is commonly compared to Glass-Reinforced Nylon, however it is much less abrasive and has a lower water absorption rate.
Additionally, HYDLAR also has better dimensional stability than its Glass-Reinforced counterpart.
