Composites

CIP composites are thermoset or thermoplastic materials reinforced with impregnated material for additional strength. Impact resistant and dimensionally stable, the formula for CIP composites can be specifically formulated for your application.

With virtually no water absorption and 1/6^th the weight of brass and plugged bronze, CIP composites are ideal material choices for wet applications and are commonly used for electrical isolators, bushings, thrust washers, wear pads and more.
